Reconnect

That bartender was cute! 

I went to the junkyard on Wednesday. I always keep an eye out for the Acura Vigor. The last two times, I saw one vigor and then two vigors. No spoiler, darn. This time, I found a vigor but I see the holes filled with silicone. That means, the previous owner had it and took it off. So close! It’s wishful thinking but maybe the next time or two, I’ll find one! 

So the past week, my stock radiator cracked. I put hondabond over the crack but the seams at the endtanks started cracking and blew coolant all over my engine. I ordered a new aluminum radiator but it came crooked. Got it exchanged on friday but other events and work made me postpone the work til this week. Smoke starts to come out in front of my car whenever I’m at a stop. The temp gauge was slowly climbing when I got to work once. Kept refilling coolant whenever I had the chance.

No pics of the work in progress because my hands were too dirty. 

My battery died the night of Jeff’s bday celebration at Dave & Buster’s. So I got a new one. Replaced a heater hose. Bought another slim fan. The project took 2 days because I took my time and was cleaning the grime off the front crossmember. It was thick and nasty. I think I knocked off some grams of weight haha.

Such a tight squeeze to put it in because of the AC lines in the way. There’s a 2cm gap between the slim fan (right in pic) and the ac hard line.

I can’t wait to test this thing in the summer when it’s hot and have the AC on. See how well it is.

DAHHHHHHHH!! 

- in mah dreams. Another weird dream that I remembered last night. I was at some school. It was a classroom with hardwood floors and all the students sat on the floor. The teacher was in the corner. I’m not paying attention and was doing multiple flare/windmill combos. It was bliss. Then class was dismissed. The teacher came up to me and said, “I gotta find a way to market this.” I have no idea what he’s talking about. I’m suddenly outside on campus. It was on yet another wood deck. I have a bmx and was doing flatland tricks. Doing mega spins. The sun was setting. It was also bliss. Then I woke up.

-spotted me yesterday. I haven’t seen him in 3 years. The feelings came back. I’m sad. It’s a different kind of sad. The only kind when you see him. He’s still cool and chill but this time, it’s different. It’s worse. I want to help him but I can’t. He now knows what car I drive and my number. 

Sighs.

Since Monday, I’ve been getting sleepy around 8pm. By 9, I’m drowsy. By 10, I’m forcing myself to stay awake. I’d wake up at 7am. Get up by 8am. It feels good that my sleeping schedule is back to normal but it’s weird. I’m so not use to it. It feels normal. I don’t take naps but dang, it’s unusual of me. Marc said I got work on Monday 9p-1a. If this keeps up, I don’t think I’ll make it to the store, awake that is. 

Ooh, I just thought of an idea: I’ll take a nap during the afternoon!
